ABOUT US

BUILT FOR PILOTS

Retire Airlines was created for captains and first officers who want more than generic financial advice. After years of discipline, sacrifice, and responsibility in the cockpit, pilots deserve retirement guidance from someone who understands the career they have built and the decisions that come with it.

We help airline pilots make sense of the financial side of retirement: from benefits and long-term planning to the bigger picture of what comes next. Our focus is simple: give pilots clear, experienced guidance so they can move toward retirement with confidence.

ABOUT SCOTT OSBORN

Scott is a graduate of the University of Toledo where he received his degree in Engineering and Finance. In the midst of his studies, Scott recalls clearly the day his, and many of our, career paths changed forever, 9/11. Upon graduation, Scott enlisted in the Army.

Upon completion of his active duty service overseas, Scott continued to serve in the Army National Guard and sought out the licensing required to become an independent retirement planner for an SEC Registered firm, The Retirement Guys, and began serving high net worth retirees, pre-retirees, and corporate executives for Fortune 500 companies. During Scott’s final assignment with the Army National Guard, he moved to Northwest Ohio and was co-located with an Air National Guard Fighter Wing.

Over the upcoming years, Scott and these pilots and Airmen would become good friends raising their kids together, doing travel sports together, and eventually doing business together. As these pilots grew in their careers and moved from the Air Guard to Delta Air Lines, Scott used his background as a corporate executive and retirement planner to master the ins and outs of retirement plans, 401Ks, and benefits of larger commercial airline companies to help these guys get their ducks in a row.

As Scott grew into becoming “The Airline Advisor,” his family also grew. He has 7 daughters (4 biological and 3 adopted from Hungary in 2023) and resides with his wife of over 20 years, Andrea. When he’s not with his family or serving pilots, he’s normally golfing with his family or pilots and hopes you’ll swing down to Toledo for a round the next time you have a layover in Detroit.
